YouthCARE’s Christian Values Education (CVE) program provides a great opportunity for us to connect with the local school community by partnering with churches, organisations and volunteers to deliver a quality program in our schools. The program explores life and values from a faith perspective in an engaging way to equip students with practical ideas and strategies for their everyday challenges.
This term we are pleased to announce a special partnership with The University of Notre Dame’s School of Philosophy and Theology in Fremantle. The partnership sees university students delivering one of our CVE programs, Treasure Hunters, at lunchtime to a local primary school in their community.
Launching in April at Samson Primary School, the program kick-started with 33 students from grades 2 to 4. The first session was filled with laughter and saw the university students delivering the session alongside their Notre Dame lecturers and facilitators.
A huge thanks to the principal and staff at Samson Primary School for inviting us to support their school community with this wonderful program. We look forward to hearing about more exciting sessions at the school and thank the amazing team at Notre Dame for helping our Christian Values Education program to grow from strength to strength!
