YouthCARE School Chaplains work in state schools to care for the social, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being of students, families and staff. This support helps students achieve their potential, both academically and in their social and family lives.

Marketing Lead
The Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, this role will be responsible for the creative design, organisation, management and successful delivery of workflows and M&C outputs, managing social media and meeting predetermined timelines and schedules. The Marketing Lead has two direct reports.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides positive leadership and direction to the team, including recruitment, training, performance management and day to day management, providing clear direction and support to team members.
  • Local and regional travel as required to meet requirements of the role.
  • Provide expertise to effectively plan, direct and coordinate marketing efforts.
  • Manage and assist in the delivery of marketing workstreams and their owners within marketing and communications.
  • Source, plan and schedule YouthCARE social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with Head of Marketing and Communications to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audiences.

Digital and Creative Officer
The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, the Digital and Creative Officer will support the Marketing & Communications team by creating materials that advance their strategic objectives. This role involves development of high-level creative concepts for design projects including branding, video production, print and social media services.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop visually compelling marketing assets for both digital and print mediums, such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, and online communications.
  • Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various activities and events.
  • Support the design and development of innovative learning resources for new and existing eLearning, courses and programs.
  • Completes design briefs for internal and external projects for departments across the organisation.
  • Maintain and update digital platforms to reflect current branding and messaging.
  • Assist in the production and distribution of internal and external communications, including promotional materials and online newsletters.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics and event-related marketing materials, audio-visual production, and digital content.
  • Provide support for ad hoc marketing and content projects as required.

Executive Assistant
The Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the Executive Assistant (EA) is the first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders engaging with the CEO and other Executives and will provide a professional and friendly service.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage CEO’s correspondence, emails, phone calls, contacts and calendar.
  • Manage COO’s phone calls and calendar as required.
  • Manage Executive travel and itineraries.
  • Maintain Executive electronic and hardcopy filing.
  • Regularly liaise with key relationships and maintain current contact lists including but not limited to: Board members, Heads of Churches, WA State and Federal Parliamentarians.
  • Organise meetings including but not limited to Board, Executive, CEO, COO, Finance Committee and Operational Team.
  • Create and distribute agendas, minutes and other relevant documentation.
  • Organise meeting venues, functions and catering.
  • Attend meetings to record minutes and distribute.
  • Monitor key deadlines and activities.
  • Prepare updates and reports on strategic and operational indicators.
  • Undertake research to assist the Executive as required.
  • Work positively with various recognised Christian denominations and independent churches.
