YouthCARE's front line of support

Chaplains work to create positive school communities where students are empowered and encouraged to be the best they can be. Chaplains make a difference in young lives, their families and school communities through building healthy relationships.

YouthCARE chaplains care for the social, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing of students, families and staff. This support helps students achieve their potential, both academically and in their social and family lives.

YouthCARE's chaplains proudly work in more than 500 state schools across WA. Our in-school chaplains work at a school two or more days per week; support chaplains visit schools one day per fortnight.

Did you know?

YouthCARE Chaplains refer around 12,600 students to external agencies every year. With 180 school days per year, that’s around 70 per day!
