It is that time of year again where we send Christmas cards to our loved ones! This year YouthCARE will be selling Christmas card packs (designed by WA primary school students) as part of our fundraising campaign, with all proceeds supporting the work of YouthCARE.

Packs of 9 for $12 – includes postage and handling.  (3 designs in a pack – designed by WA public primary school children)

Accountant Position

YouthCARE is seeking an accountant with drive and ambition to join the head office team in a full-time position.

YouthCARE is a Christian organisation who is the leading provider of pastoral care services in public schools across Western Australia. Hence it is essential that candidates support YouthCARE’s core values of Respect, Compassion and Service


The ideal candidate will have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.

The candidate will need to have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and the capability of maintaining large databases, therefore great attention to detail is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing Income and Expenditure statements and Balance Sheets and maintaining a large volume of contractual agreements.


Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day accounting duties and preparation of reports

Essential:  Completion of or studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting

Desirable: Experience in a similar role

Values Competition

Following on from the success of the Christmas Card competition we are now running a Values competition open to all primary and high school students to help recreate our values symbols. We are calling on students to use their creativity and draw what they believe Respect, Compassion or Service means to them in a picture. The designs will be used on coasters, posters and photographs as part of our promotional material
